My client is a reputable and well established trade association based in Westminster and they are looking for an experienced Accountant to join the team.

This role is for a 8 month contract and will Report into the Head of Finance. The role will be a hands-on position; you will be responsible for both the financial and management accounts. This varied and challenging role will include the following key duties and responsibilities;

•Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed analysis
•Prepare the year-end financial statements
•Quarterly VAT returns
•Audit preparation
•Project accounting
•Accounting for different entities
•Managing a finance team of 3
•Preparing the accounts for a charitable trust.

For this role it is essential that candidates are fully qualified- ACCA/ACA/CIMA and have proven experience working as an Accountant / Management Accountant within a fast paced and dynamic organisation. Working in busy and dynamic environment, it is essential that candidates have strong communication skills and are confident dealing with people across the business. Candidates who have worked previously within the Charitable Sector and have FRS 102 / SORP knowledge would be of particular interest to my client.
The role is available for a September start and the contract will initially last for a period of 8 months.
