Our client is a leading manufacturer of high end textiles. Due to expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Sales Executive to join their team.
Your role will be to assist the Sales Director in all aspects of sales and administration in line with company objectives, embracing and advertising the brand and learning all aspects of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Gain familiarisation of fabrics and ranges, understanding their make-up, construction and the differences of each
• Collate samples from customer enquiries, both on site and from overseas mills.
• Responding to customer enquiries by sending out fabric specifications, samples and price lists.
• Contacting customers and prospectives for regular follow up feedback.
• Explore new leads and markets
• Order processing and progression, from initial enquiry to delivery and invoicing following full training.
• Liaising will mills and customers ensuring samples, testing, bulk sample authorisation and production are all processed correctly, ensuring quality and in a timely manner.
• Assist the Sales Director in preparing strategy for the business and budget setting.
• Provide the Sales Director with updated sales and margin forecasts as required.
• Working with the Sales Director to implement strategies to improve margin and grow the business.
• To monitor the performance and activities of competitors and use this information to improve the performance of Jerome Fabrics.
• Deputise for the Sales Director in his absence.
• Preparing packing notes and invoices
• Ensuring price lists and stock details are up-to-date
• Ensuring all customer and supplier records are up-to-date
• Payment follow up working with in-house finance department
• Organising master collection for particular season
• Archiving master pre-season fabrics
• Any other duties as requested by the Sales Director
