Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, this is a very interesting and varied role, encompassing all aspects of transactional finance as well as assisting the FC in producing the monthly management accountants.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of weekly forecast and weekly cash book including payments
• Preparation of weekly payroll including Auto Enrollment Pension and RTI
• Responsible for Sales Ledger Credit Control
• Responsible for Purchase Ledger Control with the help of an assistant.
• Responsible for Weekly Purchase Ledger Payment Runs
• Review of PL Statement Reconciliations
• Assist the financial controller with various finance projects and initiatives including Monthly management accounts and departmental budgets.
• Responsible for the upload of invoices into a CID Facility
• Liaison with auditors
• Liaison and co-ordination with operational departments

Key competencies:

• Ideally AAT qualified or studying towards ACA, ACCA, CIMA
• Would also potentially look at a strong Graduate with a Finance focused degree
• Strong IT skills, with particular emphasis on Excel skills
• Confident personality with strong communication skills
