My Maidstone based Construction client are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller position to manage a team of 8. This is an excellent opportunity to join a SME business. Candidates will have previous experience of financial management within a sub-contracting business in the construction industry.

Your main role will be to maintain the financial control of the business and its related accounting duties.

The role will include:

� Producing management accounts and monthly reports
� Managing cash flow of the business
� Producing fiscal year end accounts
� Reviewing commercial implications of contracts and tenders
� Attending management meetings
� Managing relationships with auditors, and third parties
� Ensuring smooth running of finance department
� Ensuring timely running of payroll and related issues
� Producing ad hoc reporting

Key skills:

� Working knowledge of ERP Systems (Microsoft Navision ideal)
� Subcontractor experience
� Previous team management
