My client, a Logistics company based in Hayes are currently recruiting for an Assistant Transport Manager with prior freight forwarding industry experience.

Duties will include:

� Assist, support and liaising with Transport Operations Manager in all aspects of transport
� Deputising in absence of the manager
� Assisting in completing management reports, review and budget control
� CPC reviews of other branches
� Identifying areas for change or improvements alongside the manager
� Maintaining communication channels with department managers and
� Assisting in reviewing and transport staff
� Health and Safety of the department
� ISO involvement

Key skills:

� Freight forwarding industry
� Valid level D Aviation Security qualification
� Knowledge of DOT Regulations

37.5 hours per week (9- 5.30)

Offering competitive salary of up to £30,000 per annum
