My Croydon based Communications company are currently recruiting for a Financial Director to join their business, The company is a market leader in their field and is looking for someone bright, switched on and someone who works well on own initiative

The role will be managing a team of 3 and you will be reporting directly into the Managing Director on a day to day basis. You will be a key member of the Board of Directors and managing both the financial and commercial strategy of the business

The ideal candidate will be ACA Qualified and have previous experience within a similar environment and be able to hit the ground running. I am looking for someone who comes from a Manufacturing/Corporate finance/M&A background/private equity/leveraged businesses.

Duties include:

• Dealing with managers at board level
• Assisting co-directors on strategic and operational areas
• Streamlining and improving systems
• Financial reporting and compliance
• Preparing of statutory accounts to IFRS format
• Providing auditors with relevant information
• Management of Cash flow, treasury and working capital
• Business modelling, planning and analysis
• Estimating/job costing MIS experience
• Pricing and sales strategy

After initial introductory period, it may be possible for this to become a part time role. Offering competitive salary of c£150k - £250k
