Personal and/or Commercial Lines Account Handler

Location: Warrington

Salary £17-19k DOE + Bonus

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join an established national insurance broker as a Personal / Commercial Lines Account Handler at their branch in Warrington.

Key Duties

• You will primarily deal with personal lines products including motor insurance
• Calls will be predominately inbound, dealing with renewals and mid-term adjustments. Initially there will be outbounding to ascertain accuracy of data.
• You provide a full sales, marketing and advice service to existing and new clients.
• You will work with the commercial team to generate business Identify potential sales from all new business enquiries
• Analyse existing client base and make suitable timely recommendations
• To complete supporting documentation in a compliant and accurate manner
• To meet the targets set by the Branch Director
• To maintain own professional competence by completing on-going training sessions

General Requirements

• Ideally experience in the insurance sector. Whilst this would be great, it is not essential.
• A strong customer service background and a passion for delivering excellent service.
• Good communication, numerical, analytical and organisation skills.
• You should be able to work with minimal supervision and work well within a team environment
• You will be computer literate.
• 37.5 hours per week + one hour for lunch
• Shift Patterns between Monday : Friday 8am : 6pm, Saturday 9am : 4pm
