We are currently recruiting a Buyer for a client who is a rapidly growing I.T. wholesaler.

Duties Include: -

• Negotiating with vendors to achieve Best pricing and delivery
• Liaison internally with Sales and Marketing to ensure your products are fully and accurately described, set up and then correctly managed through the system to be promoted effectively
• Identification and evaluation of new suppliers for either existing or new products
• Managing slow moving product lines and obsolete products through analytics and pushing clearance actions to reduce stock/hold levels
• Set pricing for the products and review pricing in line with competitors
• Ongoing liaison with vendors to maintain strong relationships

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following experience as a minimum: -

• Knowledge of purchasing / buying tools and techniques
• Strong negotiator

Good communication skills

This role will offer a competitive starting salary, free parking 20 days holiday + 1 week Xmas shutdown (+statutory), Company pensions contribution (3%) and an annual profit share bonus.
