We are currently recruiting a Buyer for a client who is a rapidly growing company based in Harrogate. The role offers study support towards a CIPS

Duties Include: -

� Negotiating with vendors to achieve Best pricing and delivery
� Liaison internally with Sales and Marketing to ensure your products are fully and accurately described, set up and then correctly managed through the system to be promoted effectively
� Identification and evaluation of new suppliers for either existing or new products
� Managing slow moving product lines and obsolete products through analytics and pushing clearance actions to reduce stock/hold levels
� Set pricing for the products and review pricing in line with competitors
� Ongoing liaison with vendors to maintain strong relationships

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following experience as a minimum: -

� Knowledge of purchasing / buying tools and techniques
� Strong negotiator
