Cameron James are partnering with a highly successful and profitable Castleford based manufacturing business in the recruitment of a Purchase Ledger Clerk.
Our client, a market leader with an enviable list of blue chip clients is looking for a self-motivated, proactive individual to join their lively finance team.
With a direct report into the Finance Director. The candidate will enjoy challenging, problem solving roles and be ideally suited to a fast paced environment. The candidate should have good interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task as the role is within a busy department.

Job Role

• Enter purchase invoices onto purchase ledger in a timely and accurate manner
• Speak to suppliers regarding issues or queries in order to resolve any issues prior to payment
• Reconcile statements
• Liaise with appropriate colleagues internally and across the organisation
• Liaise with Managers on site to chase invoice approvals
• Any additional duties, within candidate’s capability, to assist in the covering of other departments when necessary
