We are working with a well-known media organisation and they have an urgent requirement for an experienced Recruitment & HR Advisor to join the business.

The role is to start ASAP due to a busy workload and will initially be for 3 months, although this may be extended.

Working in the HR team (3 people), the role will report into the HR Director and its main focus initially will be on managing recruitment for the business, in addition to assisting on HR areas such as work on the company appraisal and development process. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

•Managing the full recruitment process for current live roles - including writing job briefs, liasing with recruiting managers, screening and interviewing, through to managing the offer process.
•Lead and ownership for all recruitment within the business - junior to senior level roles, Technical and Non-Technical roles
•Liasing with the line manager on recruitment needs, including taking full role briefs and writing job specs
•Candidate short-listing and screening
•Managing the interview and offer process
•Candidate attraction - advertising on job boards, LinkedIn, head-hunting, use of social media and also liaison and managing relationships with recruitment agencies
•Attending interviews and assisting line managers with candidate selection
•Assisting the HR Director with the appraisals process, including identifying and advising on training needs of employees
•Assisting with the updating of staff handbooks and HR best practice policies
•Project work - assisting with the implementation of a new HR system
•Any ad-hoc duties within the HR team

For this role candidate will need to have proven recruitment experience and have a good understanding of HR best practice.

The ideal candidate could be from a recruitment agency, looking to move into HR / Internal Recruitment, an experienced Internal recruiter or an experienced HR Advisor, who has been heavily involved within recruitment.

This is an immediate requirement, so candidates will need to be immediately available or on 1 week’s notice
