My client, a recognised manufacturing brand are looking for a HR Assistant to join their busy HR department. This role is for an initial 3 - 6 months but does have the potential to become a permanent role after review.

In this role you will provide guidance and support to line managers in a generalist HR capacity. This will cover HR policy, communications and strategy. You will provide a rapid response recruitment service to ensure headcount targets are achieved. Within a talented team, you will provide advice, information and guidance on all areas of policies and procedures to managers and employees including employment leglisation.

You will also be involved with managing the completion of weekly timesheets, updating the JBA HR system and operate an effective absence management system. Working closely with the wages department you will manage the absence /sickness payment records, salary changes and new starters and leavers documentation.

You will also be experienced in performance management issues and training, development and induction duties.

Ideally you will be CPP qualified and stuying towards CIPD, at any level.
