We are currently recruiting a Buyer to join the Purchasing department of our Harrogate based client. They are a rapidly growing manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone wanting to further their career in procurement as it offers study support towards a CIPS Qualification.

Key duties will include:

� Stock management
� Sourcing products to meet customer requirements
� Performing RFI/RFQ/RFP to obtain best value and work in best practise
� Evaluating bids & creating proposals
� Sourcing variety of components in different markets
� Formalising supplier agreements, whilst ensuring quality, cost, and delivery requirements are achieved.

� NPI/NPD
� Reporting
� Value Engineering/Value Analysis
� Resolve any invoice queries
� Attend trade shows and visit new and existing suppliers, carrying out audits and review meetings.
� Manage facilities within the business and manage budgets and forecasts where required



To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following experience as a minimum: -

� Knowledge of purchasing / buying tools and techniques
� Strong negotiator / good communication skills.
� Good MS Excel / systems experience
� Motivated with a can do attitude.
