Job Information

Cameron James are working with an Engineering organisation who are looking to expand their HR team with a HR Business Partner. This is a true partnering role working together with the HR Director to fulfil the business’ HR, Performance Management needs : covering approx. 150 employees.

Main Duties include;

• Partnering with Managers in business areas providing a full range of Generalist HR support
• Develop, implement and report progress on the HR Project plan ensuring efficient and effective delivery of activity requires, meeting all KPI’s in a timely manner.
• Responsible for ensuring that the employee engagement strategy for the business is aligned to and delivering on the key aspects of the people development strategy.
• Be focal point for all career management activity as process expert ensuring that all local and divisional processes are carried out efficiently
• Manage day to day Employee Relations issues.
• Support managers in assigned programme in the execution of performance management process.
• Advise management and staff on HR policies and procedures and their application, to make sure they are compliant with legislation and best practice.
• Support the HR Director to ensure that the policies are developed or implement as required and are in accordance with legal and best practice.
• Be the focal point for the implementation of the Company’s projects and initiatives on the planning and priorities.
• Collaborate with Managers and contribute to the annual plan and budget for all training and development activity.
• Develop and implement the training, on-boarding and briefing packages.
• Support the HR Director to develop guidance and systems, manage projects and carry out the necessary processes and tactical plans to effectively execute all activities within the role.

This is a highly regulated engineering environment, familiarity with the culture, demands and development of the business is essential.

Person specification:

• Degree and CIPD Qualification is essential.
• SME experience
• Proven achievement path of CIPD development.
• Broad knowledge of UK Employment Law.
• Proven track record of delivering projects and tactical plans
• Excellent communication and interaction skills
