My client based in the Harpenden area is currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and hands on company.

Duties include:

� Preparing monthly management accounts
� Processing month end including journals, balance sheet reconciliations
� Analysing of information
� Reporting of accounts payable and receivable, prepayments, accruals and fixed assets
� Producing management reports
� Variance analysis
� Preparing statutory accounts including consolidations
� Maintaining fixed asset register

Key skills:

� Ideally qualified ACA/ACCA
� Able to multitask and work to deadlines
� Strong communication skills

Offering competitive salary of c£25 - £35k dependent on experience.
