Cameron James is proud to be working in partnership with a market leading Consultancy business. They are looking for a Regional HR Generalist to join their team on a contract basis to cover Maternity leave based in Huddersfield.

The successful person will be able to manage a 360 Generalist role within a team and reporting to the Head of HR, there will be travel from the Midlands to Yorkshire at various sites which will be ad-hoc. All expenses will be paid on their system, paying between £30,000 - £35,000 plus £4,000 car allowance. The main necessity of the role is to advise line managers on relevant HR matters/queries.

The main responsibilities within this position are:

• Provide advice and guidance to line managers on ER matters, HR policies, processes and procedures.
• Ensure that all policies and procedures are up to date
• Advise on with maternity, paternity, adoption and parental leave processes and queries.
• Advise line managers on contract terminations and TUPE
• Advise on retention of staff.
• Monthly Absence Analysis and liaison with managers to work on absence cases (producing reports)
• Advise on change management and restructuring

Key skills required:

• CIPD Qualified or part qualified
• Have a full Generalist experience
• Confident in a standalone role and leading various projects/cases
• IT, proficient using Excel
• Previous experience in a senior position advising line managers would be beneficial
