Cameron James is working with a leading North Yorkshire based insurance broker in the recruitment of a Systems Support & Training Consultant.

A newly created role within the organisation, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in a business that has exciting expansion plans for the future.

The role of the Systems Support & Training Consultant is to provide broking systems training and support services to Partners, in order for them to achieve optimum use of their broking system and meet with their regulatory and business requirements.

As this role will be field based across the UK a full driving license is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a good working knowledge of the Acturis and Open GI broking systems
• Provide industry knowledge and technical systems expertise to assist members in improving their system to maximise productivity and revenue.
• Provide on-site consultations with members for System Efficiency reviews, and opportunities for growth through system maximisation.
• Deliver bespoke systems training for both Open GI and Acturis, by the most appropriate means as required by Members & Partners i.e. face to face on site (121/small groups), via webinars or 121 remote training via telephone/team viewer.
• Identify members training requirements, design a bespoke training programme, providing a full agenda including learning objectives and timeframes and publish bespoke training materials as appropriate.
• Helpdesk support, providing timely telephone and email support regarding system queries, assisting with escalation to the software houses if required ensuring the query is fully resolved and the member is satisfied with the outcome.
• Organise and attend User Groups for Members who use the Acturis or Open GI system.
• Be proactive in promoting the service to ensure our Members get value from the System Support proposition.
• Effectively work with other teams, (including Client Money, Agency, MI) to ensure a fully aligned services for members and PartnersProvide industry knowledge and Key competencies:

Key competencies:

• Experience of working in the Insurance industry and in particular with broking systems ( ideally OpenGI, Acturis or SSP)
• Good understanding of the broking environment and processes
• Good technical knowledge with ability to learn new systems with ease
• Experience of good working relationships with software house and customer
• Adept at using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
