Head of Finance : Charity/ Educational Sector

My Central based client is currently recruiting for a Head of Finance to join a busy hands on team. The ideal candidate must have previous experience managing up an accounts team with proven working knowledge of an all round accounts position including payroll, accounts payable and receivable, subscription collection, contract register and financial reporting.

Duties will include:

� Liaising with trustees, senior management and heads of functions to ensure strong financials and advise where necessary on charitable matters
� Leading the operational contact for the external auditors
� Overseeing the annual budget, monthly management accounts and consolidated statutory financial accounts
� Preparing financial reports for the Board, Council, Management and auditors
� Overseeing financial processes and improving where n necessary
� Annual review of regulations and updating of financial policies
� Treasury management : preparing cashflows
� Line managing two reports
� Appraisals
� Asset management

Key skills:

� Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
� Charity/Education sector background experience
� Previous experience in similar role

Offering competitive salary of c£47500 - £49500 per annum dependent on experience
