We are working with an established business within the Care and Health industry and due to continued growth, they are recruiting for a Recruitment Officer.

Reporting into the HR Manager and working as part of the HR team, the role will be responsible for establishing, maintaining and managing the recruitment process for the business.

This is a busy role and you will be responsible for managing the on-going recruitment for the company, in addition to managing the full recruitment process. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Manage on-going recruitment (around 10 roles per month) and also involved in recruitment campaigns for all roles across the business
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with media agencies, employment agencies, etc.
• Coordinate Recruitment Assessment days and other recruitment activities for both internal and external recruitment.
• Supporting managers and ensuring the smooth running of the assessment process
• Prepare advertisements, checking application forms and shortlisting.
• Screening and interviewing candidates - telephone and assessments, advising candidates of outcomes etc
• Advertise roles on website, job boards, linkedin and other relevant media sources
• Recruitment administration - sending contracts, referencing, security checks and clearances, providing new starters with all relevant documents
• Maintain internal database files and tables, and develop recurring or ad-hoc reports - preparing monthly/quarterly recruitment, turnover and diversity monitoring reports etc
• Assist the Head of HR and Operations with preparing, developing and implementing policy and procedures on staff recruitment.
• Keep up to date with all legal and other HR developments in regards to recruitment
• Continually monitor and update statistical data to ensure the trends are reported.
• Maintain absolute discretion and maturity in handling sensitive/confidential data.

For this role candidates will have proven experience within recruitment - either internal / inhouse recruitment or from a recruitment agency.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be dealing with people across the business.

This is a busy and fast paced role, with the opportunity to take on more responsibility, so candidates will need to be keen and enthusiastic, and have the ability to think on their feet.
