We are working with an established company within Oil & Gas and they are looking to recruit an enthusiastic HR Assistant to join the business.

This is to start ASAP, so ideally candidates will be immediate or on a short notice period. However they will consider candidates on 1 month notice period, if they have the desired experience.

Reporting into the HR Advisor and working as part of a team of 3 people in HR, the role will be to provide support with all aspects of HR Administration, Recruitment and T&D. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy HR team and gain exposure to the full employee life cycle. Key duties and responsibilities will include;

• Providing HR support to 2 HR Advisors : 200 employees across the business
• HR administration : starters / leavers, on-boarding and off-boarding
• Complete all recruitment administration for permanent and temporary vacancies, liaise with line managers and external recruitment agencies, including arrangement of interviews and assessments when required, CV database search, production of offer and regret letters, implementation of new starters procedures (e.g. references and medicals).
• Managing disclosure and barring service DBS process to ensure 100% compliance.
• Update and maintain all vacancy database & bulletins.
• Conduct all the new starters’ inductions; assist with company inductions, along with managing new starter process. Organising quarterly meetings with new employees.
• Training & Development administration and support to the business
• Organising training and leasing directly with line managers and training providers. Responsible for collating and reporting all course evaluation reports to the business. Recording all employees training (paper and electronic files and SAP). Provide 1st point of phone contact for all training related queries.
• Assist the HR Manager in the annual training plan and budget projections.
• Accurate monthly submission of payroll entries, collating old the necessary documents.
• Provide admin support to all members of the HR Department as required

For this role candidates must have proven experience within HR Administration and Recruitment : the role is split 70% Recruitment and 30% HR support.

Candidates must have strong communication skills, be confident and hold excellent administration experience. There is excellent scope to develop and take on more responsibility, so they are looking for keen and enthusiastic candidates, who can manage their own workload.
