Personal lines Claims Executive (Motor & Household)

Caerphilly – South Wales

Salary: Up to £26,000 DOE + Bonus + Pension + Excellent Career Progression – On site Parking.

The role of the Personal lines claims Handler – Motor and Household

Assist clients with claims and cover enquiries and submit claims to insurers within timescales, ensuring that the claim comes to a satisfactory conclusion, efficiently and within TC procedures
Responsible for checking the validity of claims before submission to insurers
Ensure that all required documentation is made available for the speedily resolution of the claim
Negotiate interim payments with loss adjusters and insurers as appropriate
Ensure claims estimates and reserves are up to date and review periodically with insurers
Preparation of claims reports to executives, clients, and insurers



The Requirements of the claims Handler – General Insurance:

A background of personal lines insurance claims – a minimum of 1- 2 years

Knowledge of Motor and Household Insurance
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
Acturis Experience Desirable but not essential
