SME Account Handler - Leeds 
Salary up to £35,000 plus benefits
 
Are you an SME Account Handler looking to join a growing, forward-thinking brokerage in Leeds? Our client, a well-established and highly regarded independent broker, is looking to strengthen their SME team with the addition of a proactive and customer-focused Account Handler. You will manage a portfolio of small to medium-sized commercial clients across a wide range of sectors. You’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional service, ensuring clients are fully protected, and building strong, lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities include:
 
Handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business enquiries
Negotiating with insurers to secure competitive terms
Providing technical advice and tailored insurance solutions
Managing documentation and ensuring compliance standards are met
Supporting Account Executives where required
 
About You:
 
Previous experience in a Commercial or SME Account Handler role
Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products (e.g. Property, Liability, Motor, Package policies)
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage a busy workload
Cert CII qualified (or working towards) desirable but not essential 
Acturis experience would be beneficial
