Our client, a leading Uk Top 40 Accountancy Practice, is seeking to recruit an experienced Accountant to work within a niche and pivotal area of the business in this specialist division

 

Duties for the Accountant

-Manage a portfolio of clients ensuring timely preparation of financial statements and tax returns

-Prepare year end accounts

-Attend client meetings

-Oversee and mentor junior team members

-Prepare and review VAT returns, tax computations and advisory schedules

 

Experience Required;

-ACA/ ACCA qualified

-Proven experience within general practice (ideally with exposure to rural, agricultural or equine clients)

-Up to date knowledge of VAT

-Strong IT skills to include cloud accounting

-An interest in horse racing and bloodstock would be an advantage!
