Reporting into the CEO and working as part of a team of 2, the role work both strategically and operationally, leading on HR matters, liaising with overseas offices and providing advice and guidance when necessary. This is a generalist role so all round HR experience within a similar position if essential. For this role candidates will need to have proven experience working at this level and have experience working within financial services/ investment banking.

 

Key duties and responsibilities will include;

 

Advising on UK employment law

Training line managers on a regular basis to ensure continually improving confidence

Working with other areas of the business, including Compliance and Finance

Promoting positive employee relations across the workforce

Liaising with payroll and administration

Managing an HR Administrator

Dealing with employee relations as and when needed including performance management, disciplinaries and grievances

Learning and development including training delivery and design

Managing recruitment and selection

Graduate trainee programme including coaching and mentoring

Building effective relationships with outside bodies

Employee engagement and rewards

Maintaining and improving HR systems

Ad hoc projects
 

Key skills;

 

CIPD Qualified

Strong experience within financial services within a regulated environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

International company experience

This is a fast-paced role, where you will be expected to provide a professional and high-level HR service to stakeholders and build relationships; so candidates must be proactive, hold strong communication and interpersonal skills and work to a high level of accuracy.
