We are currently working with a fantastic asset management firm with approximately 300 employees, committed to attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. They are looking to recruit a Talent Development Specialist with a proven track record in financial services or asset management to lead the talent strategy 
 
This is a strategic and hands-on role responsible for designing, implementing, and driving a comprehensive Talent Development agenda. The successful candidate will create a 3-year Talent Development Strategy aligned with business goals and deliver initiatives that strengthen leadership, enhance career progression, and build succession pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a 3-year Talent Development Strategy tailored to the asset management sector.
- Design and implement key frameworks and programs, including; Career Development framework, Leadership and Line Management framework, Path to Promotion/Partnership, Line  Manager training programs, Appraisal review process, Succession planning initiatives
- Work closely with senior leaders and HR to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Act as an expert on talent management trends and best practices in asset management/financial services.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of talent development programs and continuously enhance initiatives.
 
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in talent development within asset management or financial services.
- Proven ability to create and implement a Talent Development strategy from inception to execution.
- Strong understanding of career frameworks, leadership development, succession planning, and performance management.
- Strategic thinker with operational capability — able to deliver hands-on programs while shaping long-term strategy.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- HR, Business, or related degree; CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable.
