We are working exclusively with a well-established consultancy business and they are recruiting for a Head of HR to join the business.
 
Reporting into the CEO and managing a team of 3 people, the role will have responsibility for overseeing and leading a comprehensive HR service across multi-sites and supporting on all strategic and operational HR initiatives across the business. Key duties and responsibilities will include.
 
-Reporting into the CEO and working as part of the senior executive team
-Leading a team of 3 people in HR and providing HR support to c165 employees across 8-9 sites
-Responsible for all operational and strategic areas of HR
-Attending monthly board meetings and working as a trusted member of the board
-Providing a high-level HR advice and support to the senior team and business units
-Design and implementation of the strategic direction of the HR function
-Supporting the business with the strategic 5-year plan, including the design, development and roll out of key HR initiatives and proposals.
-Strategically focused HR role involved on a number of on-going initiatives, including diversity and inclusion, hybrid working, L&D training initiatives, senior leadership management training, benefit and reward review and reviewing recruitment processors.
-Managing change across the business and working on a number of HR projects

For this role it is essential that candidates have proven HR experience at this level and can demonstrate experience at a strategic level within a fast-paced environment. Ideally candidates will be CIPD qualified and hold experience withing a professional services, consultancy, property or construction environment.
 
Management and leadership experience is essential, with the ability to influence, challenge and lead on new ideas. Strong change management and project experience is essential, as you will be leading on strategic initiatives and proposals.
 
As you will be part of the senior team and working as a trusted advisor to the board, it is imperative that candidates have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a straight-talking approach.
