We are assisting a well-established distribution company with the recruitment of an experienced Inbound Sales Advisor to join the business.
Working as part of a busy and established sales team, you will be responsible for providing an effective sales service to customers, ensuring that sales targets are met and exceeded. Key duties and responsibilities will include;
Working as part of a team of 8 inbound sales advisors
Deal with a high volume of inbound customer calls, resolving queries and taking sales orders
Ensure that all orders, quotes, telephone enquiries, despatches, invoices and invoice queries are processed accurately and within agreed timescales
Work to department SLA’s and KPI’s, ensuring sales targets are met and exceeded
Manage the full sales process from taking orders from customers, through to liaison with the warehouse, dispatches, sales notes and invoicing
Provide excellent customer service to customer and dealing with any complaints / issues in an effective manner
For this role it is essential that candidates have proven sales experience and are able to work to targets and KPI’s.
Excellent communication skills are essential for this role and the ability to work in a fast paced and busy sales environment. In addition to strong sales experience, proven customer service and building relationships with existing customers is essential.
Experience within distribution, logistics, manufacturing, engineering or similar sector would be preferred, although not essential. Otherwise experience in high volume low value sales would be ideal.
